Hi Valerie. Thank you for your input. The blog post is actually a clickable link shared for the examiner.com by a friend who does stories of a Gnostic flavour for his articles.
I have much reverence for her myself. This topic and others are discussed at another site I run called spiralinward.com . Religious history and myth are truly fascinating!

Mary Magdalene is considered by all to be the first Apostle — she brought the good news (“gospel”) of the resurrection to the other disciples. The Catholic Church calls her the Apostle to the Apostles.

The Gnostic Gospels hold that Mary was closer to Jesus than anyone else, that he told her things he told no one else. So once Jesus had ascended, Mary offered the closest access to the Word available to the other disciples through another person.

That must be so hard. You are definitely in my thoughts. I can't imagine what that's like, but having a young son, I know I'll probably go through through something similar one day.I read a thing where children and adults know how to empathize, but something happens in the teenage brain while it's developing that it loses that ability temporarily. My guess would be that this affects the behavior of some more than others.

@The Everyday Mum- I am eagerly awaiting a new deck from the eBay store. And I managed to find a book from Chapters. It will be 3-5 weeks to ship, as they are out of stock, but the price was good. I really feel a pull toward these cards and can't wait to take a gander at them! I actually have no idea how to read tarot, but that doesn't stop me from being fascinated by the concept, lol.

I love the sound of the tarot deck you ordered! I so hope you get what you need/want, in one form or another. Must be a day for cards… I ordered a gorgeous Goddess Oracle deck from ebay last week and they arrived today. Just beautiful, and I can't wait to sit down and look at them properly. Blessings….
